## Opening Prayer

Good afternoon. This is Bill Young, and welcome to Prayer and Lunch. Let us pray together the Prayer of Consecration to Our Lady and St. Joseph.

## Consecration to Mary and Joseph

God the Father, in His infinite wisdom and abundant love, entrusted you, Mary, and St. Joseph, with the care of His only Son, Jesus Christ, while He lived here on earth as the Holy Family of Nazareth. As children of God, baptized into His family, we now commend and consecrate ourselves to your humble faith.

## Petition for Guidance and Protection

Look after us and our families with the same care and tenderness with which you cared for Jesus. Help us to know, love, and serve Jesus as you knew, loved, and served Him. Grant that we may love you with the same love with which Jesus loved you on earth. Protect us and defend us from all dangers and evil.

## Prayer for Growth and Vocation

Help our faith to grow. Keep us faithful to our vocation and our mission in the Church. Make us holy.

## Final Hope

At the end of this life, take us with you to Paradise, where you already reign.
