# Praying the Chaplet of the Twelve Stars
*2022-04-26*

> Bill Young and John O'Rourke lead a prayer session using the Chaplet of the Twelve Stars, followed by the Divine Mercy Chaplet and other devotions.

## Introducing the Chaplet of the Twelve Stars

Bill explains that the Chaplet of the Twelve Stars is based on Revelation 12, where Mary is crowned with twelve stars, symbolizing her queenship. The chaplet was recorded in Bill’s 2006 prayer book and is said to have been revealed to St. Andrew, who{{{ }}} saw: an angel offering a Hail Mary for each

## The Chaplet Prayer

Bill and John pray together, beginning with the Sign of the Cross and the Apostles’ Creed. They then recite four Hail Marys, each followed by the prayer “Pray for us who have recourse to you,” and a Glory Be. This pattern is repeated three times, completing twelve Hail Marys, the structure of the Chaplet of the Twelve Stars.

## Transition to the Divine Mercy Chaplet

After completing the Twelve‑Star Chaplet, Bill leads the Divine Mercy Chaplet, invoking the “Source of life” and “Blood and Water” of Jesus. They pray the Our Father, the Hail Mary, and the Glory Be, followed by the Divine Mercy prayers that repeat the refrain “I trust in you, O Divine Mercy.”

## Closing Prayers and Announcements

The episode concludes with a closing prayer asking for God’s endless mercy and the strength to trust in His will. Bill reminds listeners of upcoming Zoom meetings, especially the Friday 3 p.m. Divine Mercy hour, and invites anyone to contact him at w.r.u.m.12@yahoo.com for more information.

*The Chaplet of the Twelve Stars offers a concise way to honor Mary’s queenship and receive graces, especially when prayed together in community.*
