## Feast of St. Augustine and a Prophetic Story

I’m sorry for the belated happy feast day to St. Augustine. While preparing today’s episode I remembered a story from 1983 about a holy man in Massachusetts who claimed a prophecy that Donald J. Trump would one day convert the world to the Catholic Church. The story has circulated in various forms, but I’ll leave the details for another time.

## Prayer to the Holy Wounds of Jesus

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, amen.

Lord Jesus, together with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I greet and worship the holy wound of your right hand. Ignite in all priests the fire of your divine love each time they celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, that they may convey that love to the souls of the faithful. Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

I greet and worship the holy wound of your left hand, and place it upon all who live in error, those who do not believe, and the poor souls who do not know you. May many laborers work in your vineyards so that they may find the way to your Sacred Heart. Amen.

I greet and worship the most holy wounds of your pierced feet, and lay them upon hidden sin and those who seek only the pleasures of this world. Spare them from shedding your precious blood in vain. Amen.

I greet and worship the holy wound of your sacred head, and place it upon the enemies of the Holy Church, those who persecute you. I beg you, Jesus, to convert them, that they may become like St. Paul and unite under one shepherd. Amen.

I greet and worship the holy wound of your Sacred Heart, entrusting my soul and all those who suffer, are afflicted, or are persecuted. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, give them your light, grace, love, and true peace. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I offer myself through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, together with your most beloved Son, for the good of all creation. Amen.

## Closing Hymn and Final Thoughts

I conclude with the beautiful “Ave Maria” sung by Christopher Machiel, a voice that truly reflects God’s gift. May this prayer and song lift our hearts toward Christ and Mary. God bless you all.

*May the Holy Wounds of Christ bring healing and unity to the Church in these troubled times.*
