## A Rally, New Friends, and the Miraculous Medal

Yesterday I attended a Trump rally in South Florida. After a long drive and a $10 garage fee, I found myself among a few thousand supporters outside the venue. I met many kind people and handed out cards and Miraculous Medals, hoping the Holy Spirit would touch those who had never heard of them. I’m grateful to the Legion of Mary in Davie for supplying the medals.

The response was encouraging—several attendees had never seen a Miraculous Medal before, so I’ll be posting a brief history of the devotion in a future episode.

## Looking Back, Looking Forward: 2019 and the Book Project

2019 brought some strange experiences that I’m still processing. As a former government analyst who worked before, during, and after 9/11, I’ve decided to write a book titled *Connecting the Dots*, addressing how analysts did, in fact, see warning signs that were later ignored. My goal is to have the book published by the end of 2020.

I also reflect on my humble beginnings with this podcast—initially disliking the sound of my own voice—yet trusting that God has a purpose for this ministry.

## Faith, Politics, and the Pro‑Life Cause

I’m deeply concerned about the culture of abortion in our country. The sanctity of life is a non‑negotiable truth for Catholics, and I pray that our leaders will protect the unborn. The recent political climate, including statements from public figures, underscores the need for a strong pro‑life voice.

Conservative judges appointed by President Trump are a major reason many Catholics support his administration. Their decisions help safeguard life and religious liberty.

## Prayer to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal

Virgin Mother of God, Mary Immaculate, unite me to you under the Miraculous Medal. May this medal be a sign of your loving affection and a constant reminder of my duties to you. While wearing it, may I be blessed by your protection and receive the graces of your Son. Most powerful Virgin, Mother of our Savior, keep me close to you every moment of my life, that I may love and act according to the example of your Son. Amen.
