> Bill Young introduces the special Sacrificial Prayer given by Our Lady of Fatima in 1917, explaining its purpose for the conversion of sinners, reparation, and the salvation of souls.

## Introduction

Good afternoon. This is Bill Young, welcome to the Prayer and Lunch podcast. Today we are sharing a special prayer—the Sacrificial Prayer that Our Lady of Fatima gave on July 13, 1917, a little more than a hundred years ago.

## Purpose of the Prayer

The prayer is offered for those who have lost their lives in Mexico, for the people of Mexico, and for the love of Jesus. It seeks the conversion of sinners, the reparation of the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and the salvation of souls.

## The Prayer Itself

“O most holy Virgin, Mother of God, we ask you to intercede for the conversion of the peoples, for the reparation of the sins committed against your Immaculate Heart, and for the salvation of all souls, especially those who have died without the sacraments. May the love of Jesus draw them to the light of the Gospel.”

*Through this prayer we join Mary’s own sacrifice, offering love and reparation for the salvation of all.*
