# Chaplet to Our Lady of Fatima – Day Two
*2017-05-05*

> Bill Young leads the second day of the Chaplet to Our Lady of Fatima, reciting the Creed, prayers, and a reflection on Mary’s purity and our call to love and protect souls.

## Opening Prayer

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

O God, come to my aid. O Lord, make haste to help me.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

## The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven, is seated at the right hand of the Father, and will come again to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

## Reflection on Our Lady of Fatima

Today is the second day of the chaplet. Most pure Virgin Mary, clothed in purity white as snow, appeared to simple, innocent shepherds. She teaches us how deeply we must love the souls of body and spirit. Help us appreciate this heavenly gift, so often forgotten today, and keep us from offending our neighbors with words or actions. Instead, grant us the grace to aid innocent souls and preserve these divine treasures.

## Our Prayer to Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, my love, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima, pray for us. Amen.

## Closing Blessing

God bless you all, and have a great Tuesday.

*May Mary’s pure example inspire us to love and protect every soul entrusted to our care.*
