## A Christmas Greeting

Good morning, this is Bill Young and welcome to the Prayer N Lunch podcast. Today is December 25th. Merry Christmas to one and all—to all our friends and all those who may not be our friends. God loves everyone, no matter what faith you are in or what you may be doing. Today we celebrate the day He was born for us. This is the season. He also died for us and came back for us to repent our sins. I hope everyone has an enjoyable Christmas day.

## Adoring the Word Made Flesh

We will be doing a prayer called, "Let us adore the Lord Jesus who came into the world." Lord Jesus, eagerly awaited by humanity for centuries and longed for by our poor hearts too, we greet and adore you in the name of all creatures. We express immense gratitude to you for having come to save us according to the divine promise. We want to honor you with as much joy and favor as we can muster to cry: Glory, honor, and blessing be to you, the Word of God made flesh.

## The Poverty and Mercy of Christ

We adore and praise you, Son of God and of Mary. We adore you in your extreme poverty. We adore you, Lamb of God, who takes away our sins. We adore you, the Bread of Life, who came to give us true life. We adore you because you unite yourself to us in our tears and in our sufferings in order to give us true happiness. We adore you, O God, who became a child. To you we sing, glory to God in the highest.

## Offering Our Hearts

We adore and love you with the heart of Mary and the most holy mother of Joseph, your most chaste father. We love you and offer you our hearts with all the power of love that you yourself have given us, and we hold you close to our humble hearts with all the strength that you have given us. We love you, O divine victim of love, who came to bring us peace, hope, and joy. O Jesus, divine child, all of us here present embrace you and ask that we may never be separated from you. Amen.

*May we embrace the divine child and seek to never be separated from Him.*
