# What would it be like if Hillary Clinton is elected president?

> Bill Young discusses his concerns regarding the potential presidency of Hillary Clinton, focusing on the risks to American democracy, religious freedom, and global stability.

## Global Tensions and Cyber Warfare

I woke up at 4:00 AM recently with a lot of thoughts about the upcoming debate and the possibility of Hillary Clinton becoming president. Based on information from WikiLeaks and statements made by both Clinton and Vice President Joe Biden, there is a concerning trend regarding Russia. They have mentioned the possibility of secret cyber attacks and even the use of military force to retaliate against Russia. Many people around the world are worried that this escalation could lead to World War III and the use of atomic bombs. While I hope that neither side actually has the nerve to go that far, the state of the world remains in flux.

## Concentration of Power and Globalism

If Hillary Clinton were to win, especially by a landslide, she could potentially control the majority in the Supreme Court, the Senate, and Congress. This level of power would make President Obama's executive orders look like a drop in the bucket. I fear she would use this power to favor global interests and move the United States toward a global society—a sort of new European Union—where world banks and a global economy control our destiny. This could lead to a global sales tax and a single currency, especially as the American dollar continues to struggle under trillions of dollars in debt.

## Civil Liberties and the Second Amendment

With total control of the government, I believe the next step would be overturning the Second Amendment. I suspect there would be a mandatory registration of firearms followed by their seizure. To enforce this, the government might federalize state reserves to go door-to-door, similar to what happened in Cuba under Fidel Castro. I also worry about the nature of her appointments; I can imagine a scenario where cabinet members or Supreme Court justices are required to take a personal oath of allegiance to her regardless of the law.

## The Threat to the Catholic Church

It is my belief that Clinton and her circle hold a disdain for the Catholic Church. I fear she would attempt to dismantle the Church's influence by mandating that every priest and pastor recognize same-sex marriage as a constitutional right. If the Church objects, she could strip them of their tax-exempt status, taxing properties and clergy salaries at 50% or higher. Furthermore, I expect mandates requiring the Church to pay for birth control and government-funded abortions on demand.

## Democracy in Peril

Our democracy is in peril. I see a bleak future if Clinton is elected, including open borders with immediate citizenship and the potential for civil unrest. I am also concerned about the role of the press; the major media outlets and moderators seem to be abusing their freedom of the press to pick our presidents rather than remaining neutral. We saw during the Nixon administration that an outcry from the press was necessary for accountability, but today the press is not acting as a neutral observer.

*To save our democracy and freedom, it is imperative that every citizen votes in person for Donald J. Trump.*
