Good afternoon. This is Bill Young, and welcome to the Prayer & Lunch podcast. Today is Wednesday, September 2nd, and September is dedicated to our angels. I will be praying the Invocation of the Nine Choirs of Angels.

## Seraphim and Cherubim

O Seraphim, most holy, move us with a zeal for our salvation. May you be our special guardians and protectors, never tiring in watching over us and defending us always and everywhere. Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

O Cherubim, most wise, dispel the darkness of our souls and allow divine light to shine within us, that we may clearly comprehend the truth of salvation. Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

## Archangels

O Archangels, most noble, guide us and direct our steps amid the dangers that surround us on all sides. Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

## Principalities and Powers

All Principalities, who govern empires and provinces, direct our souls so that they may never be dominated by our senses. Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

All Powers, invincible, defend us from the assaults of the devil, who prowls around us like a lion seeking to devour us. Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

## Virtues, Dominions, and Thrones

All Virtues, most powerful, have mercy on our weakness; obtain for us the strength and courage to bear the trials of this life with patience. Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

All Dominions, most high, reign over our spirits and hearts; help us to know and faithfully fulfill the will of God. Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

All Thrones, upon which the Almighty rests, obtain for us peace with God, with our neighbor, and with ourselves. Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
