## Remembering Orlando

We begin by lifting up the souls of the 49 victims of the Orlando shooting, their families, and all who were injured. May the Holy Spirit bring comfort to those grieving and grant speedy healing to the wounded.

## Prayer of Total Trust

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

My God, my God, my God, not only do I trust in You, but I trust in You alone. Give me the spirit of abandonment to accept the things I cannot change, the spirit of strength to change the things I can, and the spirit of wisdom to discern what truly depends on me, that I may do only Your holy will. Amen.

## My God and My Father

My God and my Father, may my sorrowful loneliness glorify You. May my patience and obedience soothe You. Do not vent Your righteousness and anger on all souls. Look upon Your Son; forgive our sins in the name of His suffering. Sustain us, and do not let us succumb to the burden of our weakness. In our hours of trial, give us strength to bear suffering and trials in accordance with Your holy, adorable will. Amen.

## Prayer for Divine Wisdom (St. Louis de Montfort)

God of our fathers, merciful Lord, Spirit of truth, I, a poor creature, prostrate before Your divine majesty, acknowledge my deep need for the wisdom I have lost because of my sins. Trusting in Your promise to grant wisdom to all who ask without hesitation, I humbly petition You today. Send us, Lord, the wisdom that dwells before Your throne and includes all Your gifts. May it sustain our weakness, enlighten our minds, inflame our hearts, teach us to speak, act, work, and suffer with You. Guide our steps and the will of our souls with the virtues of Jesus Christ and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the precious blood of Your Son, and Your great desire to communicate Your gifts to all creatures, we ask this infinite treasure of wisdom. Hear our prayer and grant it. Amen.
