Good morning. This is Bill Young, and welcome to the Prayer and Lunch podcast. Today, May 31st, we celebrate the Feast of the Visitation of Mary to Elizabeth.

## Prayer for the Biden Family

We extend our condolences to Vice President Joe Biden’s family after the recent loss of his son to cancer. May the Holy Mother intercede for the Biden family, that they may find comfort in Christ and that the soul of the departed may rest in peace.

## Perpetual Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Most holy Virgin Mary, Mother of God and Mother of humankind, we turn to your immaculate heart and implore your grace and protection in this hour of danger and sorrow. We entrust ourselves to your Immaculate Heart, confident that we are always protected by you and hopeful that we will be enriched by your goodness and merits.

Mother of mercy, grant us from God the graces that can convert our hearts, preparing us for peace of conscience. Queen of peace, pray for us. Grant that all people may desire true peace—peace that is truth, justice, and love of Christ. Bring peace where there is war and give peace to souls, that the Kingdom of God may spread in the tranquility of the world.

Mother of the Church, grant complete freedom to the Holy Church of God. Pure Mother, arrest the overflowing flood of public and private immorality, fill us with the fidelity of pure love, and inspire a zeal to live a Christian life so that those who serve God may increase in number and virtue.

We make a perpetual consecration of ourselves to your Immaculate Heart, O Mother, Queen of the world, that your love and protection may hasten the coming of the Kingdom of God among all peoples. Take us into your Immaculate Heart, O Mary, and offer us to the Divine Heart of Jesus, where we will find truth, life, and peace. Amen.
