## Remembering Mother Angelica

Good evening. This is Bill Young and welcome to the Prayer N Lunch podcast. Today is Easter Sunday, and news has come out that Mother Angelica, the great champion of the truth, has passed and is in heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ. She founded the EWTN Catholic Television Network. Her life was always dedicated to the truth and to our Lord. We pray for Mother Angelica and ask her to pray for us with our Lord Jesus Christ.

## The Divine Mercy Novena: Day Three

Today we continue with the Divine Mercy novena, and it is the third day. The intention for today is: 'Bring me all devout and faithful souls and immerse them in the ocean of my mercy.' These souls brought consolation to our Lord on the way of the cross; they were that drop of consolation in the midst of an ocean of bitterness.

## Closing Prayer

Most Merciful Jesus, from the treasury of your mercy, you impart your graces in great abundance to each and all. Receive us into the abode of your most compassionate heart; never let us escape from it. We beg this grace of you by the most wondrous love for the Heavenly Father with which your heart burns so fiercely.

Eternal Father, turn your merciful gaze upon the faithful souls as upon the inheritance of your Son. For the sake of His sorrowful passion, grant them your blessings and surround them with your constant protection. Thus, they may never fall or lose the treasure of the holy faith, but rather, with all the hosts of angels and saints, may they glorify your boundless mercy for endless ages. Amen.
