> Bill reflects on St. Francis de Sales’ feast day and shares a prayer of trust in Divine Mercy written by St. Padre Pio, followed by the traditional Divine Mercy Prayer.

## Feast of St. Francis de Sales

Good afternoon and welcome to the three‑o’clock hour, the hour of mercy. Today is the feast of St. Francis de Sales. He lived in the 17th‑century France, became bishop of Geneva, and, although his father wanted him to be a lawyer, he answered God’s call to the priesthood. Let us ask St. Francis de Sales to pray for us.

## Trust in Divine Mercy – a prayer by St. Padre Pio

At St. David’s, outside the tabernacle, I found a small book titled *My Saint Pio Prayer Book*. One of the prayers that stood out is “Trust in Divine Mercy,” written by St. Padre Pio himself. It reminds us that without Divine grace we could not be victorious in the crises and spiritual battles we face. It urges us to open our souls ever more to Divine hope and to place our trust in Divine Mercy, the only refuge for a soul tossed upon a stormy sea.

## The Divine Mercy Prayer

Let us now pray the traditional Divine Mercy Prayer:

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of your dearly beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and for the sins of the whole world. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world. Amen.

*Placing our trust in Divine Mercy opens the way to hope and salvation.*
