## Opening and Purpose

Good afternoon, I’m Bill Young. Today we pray a special Rosary called the Rosary of the Love of Jesus. Our intention is to lift up those in Washington, D.C., and everywhere who are working to stop abortion. Whether or not a blizzard keeps you from a public prayer, we join together in our homes to ask God to end all abortions.

## Introductory Prayer of Love

God our Father, I believe in Your eternal and infinite love. You are Love; Your Son, Jesus Christ, is the Word of Love, and the Holy Spirit is the bond that unites the Trinity. You created everything out of love and govern it wisely. Even when we turn away in sin, Your love never ceases. You sent Jesus to save the world and to show Your perpetual love, especially to sinners. You love all people, without boundaries, and give us the strength to live. Through baptism You welcomed me into the Church, and even when I sin, You forgive out of love. May this love lead me to eternal life with You, and may all Your children welcome Your kingdom. I pray this in union with Mary, the Mother of Love, who is always open to Your love. Amen.

## The Rosary Prayers

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen. (Repeated for each decade.)

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

## Specific Intentions for the Unborn

Lord Jesus, forgive us our sins and save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to heaven, especially those who most need Your mercy. We pray for every unborn child and for the abolition of abortion. May those who have had abortions be welcomed into heaven, and may the mothers who chose abortion receive Your forgiveness and the grace to never repeat that choice.

## Reflections on Love, Forgiveness, and Peace

Father, help me understand that loving myself is the first response to Your love, and that true self‑love means cooperating constantly with Your graces and growing into Your image. Forgive my selfishness, arrogance, jealousy, and every fear that keeps me from loving You above all. Grant me the grace to love my neighbor as myself, to forgive those who have hurt me, and to extend love even to my enemies. May Your love transform hatred into forgiveness and bring true peace to a world torn by conflict.

## Concluding Prayer

Mary, Mother of Love, goodness, mercy, and reconciliation, I know you are with me and invite me to grow in love—loving God, myself, and my neighbor. Through your intercession, may the Lord hear our prayers. Amen.
