# Novena to the Infant of Prague: Day Two
*2016-01-05*

> Bill Young leads the second day of the Novena to the Infant of Prague, focusing on the divinity of Christ in His infancy and praying for peace and the conversion of souls.

## Opening Prayer

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. O God, come to my aid; O Lord, make haste to help me. Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

## Adoration of the Divine Infant

Jesus, splendor of the Heavenly Father, in whose face shine the rays of divinity, I adore you while acknowledging you to be the true Son of the living God. I offer you, O Lord, the humble homage of my entire being. May I never be separated from you, who are my greatest possession.

## Intercessions and Petitions

Following the Our Father and the Hail Mary, we turn to the Infant of Prague. O Jesus, through your divine infancy, grant me the grace that I ask of you. My desire is for peace on earth, and the conversion of souls to the love of our Lord Jesus Christ. If it is to be in accordance with your plan for me and for my benefit, look not on my unworthiness, but on the faith and on your infinite mercy.

## The Joy of Finding Christ

O sweet fruit of Jesus, give us the joy of your heart. His presence is sweeter than honey, and than all other things. Nothing that can be seen is sweeter; nothing that can be heard is more delightful; nothing that can be touched is sweeter than Jesus, the Son of God. Jesus, I hope for all those who repent. How merciful you are to those who pray to you, and how good you are for those who search for you and find you. Neither can a tongue describe it, nor written words express the joy one feels in finding the Lord.

## Closing Prayer

Jesus, who are our future reward, may you always be the source of happiness. Let us glorify you now and forever. Amen. Let us pray: O God, who appointed your only Son to be the savior of humankind and ordered that he be called Jesus, grant that we may enjoy in heaven the vision of the one whose name we venerate here on earth. Through the same Christ, our Lord. Amen.

*Through the divine infancy of Jesus, we find a source of infinite mercy and the ultimate joy of the heart.*
