## Advent Reading

Luke 10:21 – “In that same hour He rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, ‘I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to babes.’”

## Prayer for Humility

We thank you, Jesus, for revealing yourself not as one who remains high and dominates the universe, but as one who bends down, descends to the little and poor earth. Help us to be like you, not putting ourselves above others, but indeed lowering ourselves, placing ourselves at the service of others, becoming small with the small and poor with the poor. Amen.
