# Ninth Day of the Immaculate Conception Novena – “All Fair”
*2015-12-08*

> Bill continues the ninth‑day novena prayer for the Immaculate Conception, reciting the hymn “All Fair, O Mary” and a concluding prayer, and reflects on consecrating oneself to Mary.

## The Hymn “All Fair, O Mary”

We’re continuing with the novena of the Immaculate Conception. The next prayer is called “All Fair.” It goes:

All fair, O Mary, thou art all fair. The original stain is not in thee. Thou art the glory of Jerusalem, thou art the joy of Israel, thou art the honor of our people. Blessed art thou, O Virgin Mary, by the Lord Most High God above all women upon the earth.

## Prayer of the Novena

Let us pray:

O God, through the Immaculate Conception of your Virgin Mother, you prepared a worthy dwelling place for your Son. In anticipation of your Son’s coming and his death, you preserved her from every stain of sin. Grant that we, too, by her intercession, may be united with you in purity of spirit, through Christ our Lord. Amen.

## Consecration to Mary

We may conclude the novena by consecrating ourselves to the Immaculate Mary. To consecrate oneself to Mary is to return to the womb of our Mother, being reborn to a life of grace. Many also obtain a Miraculous Medal to wear as a sign of this devotion.

## Finding a Miraculous Medal

I visited a church gift shop and they only had a medal of Mary of Grace, not the Miraculous Medal. I’m still looking for one. If anyone knows where I can obtain an authentic Miraculous Medal, please let me know.

*Consecrating ourselves to Mary draws us into the purity and grace she embodies.*
