## A tragedy in Paris

Good morning. This is Bill Young, and welcome to the Prayer N Lunch podcast. Today is Saturday, November 14th. Yesterday was a sad day in Paris, France, where over 150 lives were lost in a terrorist attack. We pray for all the souls who were killed or injured in the Paris attacks, and for the families and loved ones mourning their loss. For those who were there and those living in Paris, please pray with us. Pray for Paris.

## Mary's peace prayer

We are offering a special prayer today: Mary's Peace Prayer. Mary, Mother of God, my mother, Queen of Peace, ask your Son Jesus to give me the gift of peace. Pray for me for peace; peace in my heart, peace of mind and of soul, peace in my family, and peace with all whom I meet—the peace of Jesus.

## A plea for global peace

Jesus, my Lord and Savior, my brother and King of Peace, I come to you with Mary, Queen of Peace, to humbly ask for a new outpouring of the gift of peace. Pour out on me your Holy Spirit of peace. Give me peace, Jesus: peace within myself, peace for my family, and peace in my everyday life. Give peace to my nation and to all nations. Peace among all people; peace in the world. Jesus, my mediator with the Father, take me to the Father to pray for peace. Father, my Father, I come to you with your Son, Jesus; in Him, with Him, and through Him, I pray for peace.

## Closing prayers

Let us pray the Our Father, the Hail Mary, and the Glory Be. Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
