Pope Francis reminds us that we face serious challenges in caring for our common home and ensuring a sustainable future for the next generations. Yet he urges us to be joyful, trusting that God’s love and grace will empower us to replace both material poverty and spiritual emptiness with a rich, shared purpose.

## A Call to Conversion of Heart and Soul

The Pope asks us to live this challenge as a true conversion of heart and soul. He invites us to stand united in wonder before the God who creates us, allowing praise to flow from our lives as we respond to His invitation.

## Personal Pondering

Bill poses three questions for reflection: Am I ready to face these challenges? How shall I begin, and with whom can I join forces to effect change? Can I accept the joy that God wants to share with me?

## Prayer for Action

He offers a prayer: “God of creation, help me share your light in all that I do, that I may renew and restore the world.”
