## Walking in Praise with Pope Francis

Good morning, I’m Bill Young. Today is Saturday, October 24, 2015, and we’re on day 26 of our series “Walking in Praise with Pope Francis.” The theme for today is “Love Will Guide Us.” Pope Francis invites us to leave self‑interest behind and to embrace a culture of care that reaches both our brothers and sisters and our planetary home.

## What Is a Culture of Care?

A culture of care means recognizing our part in God’s creation and responding with love to the needs of others and the environment. When we understand that caring for one another and caring for the Earth are one and the same, we begin to grasp the full implications of what God is asking of us.

## Pondering the Call

Ask yourself: What would embracing a culture of care look like in my daily life? When faced with the tasks before me, do I remember to ask for God’s help? This reflection helps us align our actions with the love that guides us.

## Prayer

God of creation, help me to see Your hand in everything, so that everything I do is done in Your name.

*When we let love guide us, caring for the Earth becomes an expression of caring for each other.*
