# In the News – 9/11 Anniversary and DC Union Station Shooting
*2015-09-11*

> Bill Young reflects on the 14th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, calls for transparency about the perpetrators, and reports a recent shooting at Union Station in Washington, D.C., which appears to be domestic violence rather than terrorism.

## Union Station Shooting

There was a shooting at Union Station in Washington, D.C. Two people were wounded—one by gunfire and one by stabbing. Authorities say the incident appears to be an act of domestic violence, not terrorism.

## Remembering 9/11

Today marks the 14th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York, the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and the plane crash in Pennsylvania. We continue to pray for the victims, their families, and all who were affected.

## Call for Transparency

Recent reports indicate that many members of Congress are aware of details regarding the funding of the 9/11 attacks, specifically the involvement of Saudi sources, but these details have not been made public. I believe the families of the victims have a right to know the names of those responsible, and I urge the Obama administration to release this information so that justice can be pursued, even after fourteen years.

*Justice and truth are essential for healing, and we must continue to seek both for the victims of 9/11.*
