## Feast of the Queenship of Mary

Good afternoon, I’m Bill Young. Today is Saturday, August 22nd, the Feast of the Queenship of Mary. In honor of this solemnity we are praying the Marian devotion that contains 26 prayers; I will now lead us in the 25th prayer.

## The 25th Marian Prayer

O Immaculate Virgin, Mother of God and Mother of all people, we believe in your Assumption, body and soul, to heaven, where your name is proclaimed by the choirs of angels and the hosts of saints. We unite ourselves with them in praising and blessing the Lord, who has exalted you above all creatures, and we offer you our desire to love and devote ourselves to you. We trust that the eyes of your mercy will turn toward us in our troubles and sufferings, that your lips will smile at our joys and victories, and that you will hear the voice of Jesus calling each of us His own. We invoke you as Mother and accept you as our guide, strength, and comfort in this mortal life. We believe that your glory in heaven, where you reign with the sun and are crowned with the stars, is the joy of all angels and saints. From earth, where we live as pilgrims, we look to you, our hope, appealed to us with your sweetness and your voice, to show us the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus. O Clement, all‑loving, sweet Virgin Mary, amen.

## Repeated Hail Marys

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

## Closing Invocation

Lord, be with the Father, His Son, and the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be.

*May Mary’s queenship inspire us to trust in her merciful intercession throughout our earthly pilgrimage.*
