## Opening Prayer

Holy Mother, help and guide us in this time of great contrast. Grant that, under your guidance, we may obtain the peace, joy, and serenity longed for by all Christians.

## Petition for Love and Unity

Holy Mother, you are our joy and our love. May all our dear ones, and all our brothers and sisters in this poor world, share the same affection toward you that we have. Through your goodness and the signs you continually give us, grant that humanity may walk the right path, the path of light.

## Becoming Light for Others

You are a true light for us, illuminating our hearts so that we may become beacons of the Lord’s light to all our brothers and sisters. Continue, we beseech you, never cease to speak to us and walk among us, heavenly Mother, mother of us all.

## Protection from Darkness

With your cry of sorrows united to the world, spare us from darkness. Grant that, with your merciful love, we may keep far from evil, be sustained by the Holy Spirit, and come to know the great and merciful Father more intimately through your Son, Jesus Christ.

## Traditional Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, my love, pray for sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
