## The Queenship of Mary

Good afternoon. This is Bill Young, and welcome to the Prayer N Lunch podcast. Today is the feast day of the Queenship of Mary. In her honor, we are doing a marathon of prayers.

## A Prayer for a Pure Heart

Holy Mother of God, keep within me the heart of a child, pure and limpid, like the water of a spring. Give me a simple heart, which neither dwells on nor wallows in its own sadness. A heart generous in giving itself, easily moved in compassion; a faithful and generous heart, which neither forgets any good deeds nor bears any grudges.

Create in me a sweet and humble heart, which loves without demanding to be loved in return, which is content to disappear in others' hearts, sacrificing itself for your divine Son. A good heart that cannot be subdued, so that no form of ingratitude may ever be able to close it; that it may never be a heart tormented by the glory of Christ, wounded by His love with a wound that only could be healed in heaven.

## The Hail Mary and Glory Be

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
