## Honoring the Queenship of Mary

Today is Friday, August 21st, the feast day of St. Pope Pius X. Tomorrow, we will be celebrating the Queenship of Mary. In honor of this feast, I will be doing a marathon of prayers, posting a new prayer to Mary every hour on the hour—at least 24 prayers in total. I hope you can pray with me; you don't have to pray them all at once, but let's try to concentrate tomorrow as a day of prayer and dedication to Mary.

## Preparing for the World Meeting of Families

Today, we are praying the prayer for the World Meeting of Families, which will take place in Philadelphia at the end of September. I recently had the opportunity to attend a meeting regarding the Washington portion of the trip to see Pope Francis at the Archdiocese of Miami. The people there are very nice, and I hope and pray that everything goes well. I may even be able to podcast from there, so it should be a very exciting trip.

## A Prayer for Families

God and Father of us all, in Jesus, your Son and our Savior, you have made us your sons and daughters in the family of the Church. May your grace and love help our families in every part of the world be united to one another in fidelity to the Gospel. May the example of the Holy Family, with the aid of your Holy Spirit, guide all families, especially those most in trouble, to be homes of communion and prayer, and to always seek truth and live in your love. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, pray for us.
