Good afternoon. This is Bill Young, and welcome to the Prayer and Lunch podcast. Tonight we are offering a special prayer for Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of Whitney Houston, who died at the age of 22.

## Prayer of Offering the Blood of Christ

Eternal Father, I offer you the blood which Jesus, your beloved Son, shed during his Passion—on the Mount of Olives, at the crown of thorns, and on the Cross—in order to obtain the liberation of the holy souls in purgatory, especially the soul of Bobbi Kristina. Eternal rest, grant unto her, O Lord, and let the perpetual light shine upon her. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

## Intercessory Prayer to Jesus

O most lovable Jesus, I humbly implore you to present to the Eternal Father the sorrowful passion of your Sacred Heart, that the holy souls in purgatory may obtain relief from their torments. May your divine mercy be praised forever in heaven. Amen.
