## Our Lady of Mount Carmel

Yesterday, we celebrated the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. After our 9 o'clock Mass at St. David's, we were all given the scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

## A Prayer of Consecration

In honor of this feast, I would like to pray this daily consecration to Mary: O Immaculate Virgin, my mother Mary, I renew this day and forever consecrate all of my being to you, so that you may dispose of me for the good of all souls. My Queen and Mother of the Church, I only ask to cooperate fully in your mission for the coming of the kingdom of Jesus in the world.

## Offering Intentions

To the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer the prayers, actions, and sacrifices for today. While you may offer your own particular intentions for the month, mine will be for the protection of the souls and the families of the four Marines killed in Tennessee. I pray for protection, O Mary, for all people who protect us: the police, the Army, the Marines, the Navy, and the Air Force. Please protect them and protect all of our citizens who may be just doing their daily work and could get into harm's way.

## Closing Prayer

O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to you, and also for all who do not seek your help, in particular for the enemies of the Holy Church. Amen.
