## A Personal Story of Hope

My son Gregory turns 22 today, and I’m grateful for this milestone. Our family’s journey to his birth was long and painful. My wife suffered three miscarriages before Gregory arrived. The first pregnancy ended at five months, and the second was marked by severe hemorrhaging in December. During that difficult time we prayed the Rosary daily for about a week and a half, and the bleeding stopped. The remainder of the pregnancy proceeded smoothly, and Gregory was born healthy in July. It took more than ten years of waiting, but we truly believe that prayer and trust in God sustained us.

## The Importance of Faith

We even drove to a chapel in St. Augustine, Florida, that is known for prayers for maternity and birth. While we tried many things, the key was perseverance and faith. Without faith, the effort feels empty. I share this story to encourage anyone struggling with infertility: keep praying, keep hoping, and trust that God hears you.

## Prayer for a Family Member

Heavenly Father, we praise You for all the gifts You have given us. In a special way, we thank You for Gregory. Bless him always in Your love. Bless our family and the food with which we celebrate. Help us all to praise You and give You glory through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

## A Short Birthday Prayer

God the Father, the birth of Your Son, Jesus Christ, brought great joy to Mary and Joseph. We give thanks to You for Gregory on the birthday we celebrate today. May he ever grow in faith, hope, and love. We ask this in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
