## Introduction

Good evening. This is Bill Young and welcome to the Prayer and Lunch podcast. Today, we are moving ahead to our July 4th podcast. The feast day of July 4th is for St. Elizabeth of Portugal and also the Blessed Virgin Mary. We will be focusing on a prayer called "Prayers of Offering of the Most Precious Blood to the Eternal Father."

## Offerings for the Church and the World

Eternal Father, we offer you the most precious blood, which Jesus shed on the cross and offers every day on the altar for the glory of His Holy Name, for the coming of His Kingdom, and for the salvation of all souls. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. May Jesus always be blessed and thanked because He saved us by His precious blood.

Eternal Father, we offer you the most precious blood which Jesus shed on the cross and offers every day on the altar for the Holy Church, for our Holy Father, Pope Francis, for our bishops, priests, missionaries, religious, and for all the faithful. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. ## Prayers for Conversion and Peace

Eternal Father, we offer you the most precious blood which Jesus shed on the cross and offers every day on the altar for the conversion of sinners and for Christian unity, so that the word may be obeyed out of love. Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. May Jesus always be blessed and thanked because He has saved us by His precious blood.

Eternal Father, we offer you the most precious blood which Jesus shed on the cross and offers every day on the altar for civil authorities, for the increase in morality, and for peace and justice among all people. Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. ## Intercessions for the Suffering and the Dead

Eternal Father, we offer you the most precious blood which Jesus shed on the cross and offers every day on the altar so that our work and pain may be consecrated to you; we offer it to you always for the poor, the sick, those who have suffered, and for all those who have asked for our prayers. Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. May Jesus always be blessed and thanked because He saved us by His precious blood.

Eternal Father, we offer you the most precious blood which Jesus shed on the cross and offers every day on the altar for our spiritual and temporal necessities, as well as for those of our relatives, benefactors, and enemies. Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Eternal Father, we offer you the most precious blood which Jesus shed on the cross and offers every day on the altar for those who will pass into the next life on this day, and for the holy souls of purgatory, for their union in eternity with Christ in His glory. May the blood of Jesus be praised now and forever. Amen.

Let us pray: Almighty, eternal God, who sacrificed your only begotten Son, the Redeemer of the world, and desires to be placated by His blood, grant that we may venerate the price of our salvation, in order that by its power we may be defended here on earth from the evil of everyday life so that we may enjoy the fruits of your heavenly eternity. For Christ, our Lord, amen.
