## A testament to charity

I live in South Florida, near the Miami and Fort Lauderdale area. For many years, I have been involved with the charitable events of a particular man. Having had the opportunity to meet him and witness how he works for charity, I can say he is a person of good character. He has also converted to Catholicism.

## A prayer for strength

I want to offer a prayer to give him strength from this day forward. My God and my Father, may my sorrowful loneliness glorify You; may my patience and obedience soothe You. Do not vent Your righteous anger on all souls. Look at Your Son, forgive all souls in the name of His suffering, and sustain them. Do not let them succumb under the burden of their weakness.

## Enduring life's trials

Be at their side in the hour of imprisonment, and give them strength to bear the sufferings and trials of life in accordance with Your holy, adorable will.
