## Opening Prayer and Intentions

Good afternoon. This is Bill Young, and welcome to Prayer and Lunch. Today we pray the sixth day of the novena to Our Lady Help of Christians, especially for the speedy recovery of Dwayne. Thank you to everyone who watched yesterday’s episode; we had over 600 views. Let us pray together, invoking the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

## Novena Prayer to Mary

O Mary, Queen of the Apostles, take under your precious protection the sacred ministers and all the faithful of the Catholic Church. Obtain for them the spirit of unity and a fervent zeal for the salvation of souls. Particularly extend your loving help to missionaries, that they may lead all peoples of the earth to the true faith, that the world may become one under the one Shepherd, our Lord Jesus Christ.

## The Lord’s Prayer and Hail Mary

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

## Hail Holy Queen

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To you we cry, O Mother of the blessed, for the children of Eve. We lift up our sighs, our mourning, and our tears to you. Turn your gracious eyes of mercy toward us. Show us the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus. O loving, sweet Virgin Mary, pray for us, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

## Closing Prayer

Lord, grant us the grace to imitate Mary’s love of God and neighbor. O Mary, most powerful Virgin, defender of the Church, Help of Christians, intercede for us in our sorrows, conflicts, and needs. Defend us from the enemy, and at the hour of our death welcome us into paradise. Amen.
