# Consecration to the divine will

## A prayer for Rosario

Good afternoon. This is Bill Young and welcome to the Prayer N Lunch podcast. Today we are going to be doing a prayer called Consecration to the Divine Will. But before we start, I have an update. Someone on my Twitter account, Leonardo from Argentina, shared a story about his four-year-old daughter, Rosario, who has brain cancer. He found me through a hashtag I used for St. Patrick's Day.

We would like to dedicate this prayer to Rosario for a cure, for her health, and for her love for her father. Interestingly, while I was staying in North Palm Beach, Florida, the closest church we found was St. Patrick's Catholic Church. I believe this has significance in how the saints help us here on earth. I dedicated yesterday's prayer to St. Patrick, and now let us do this prayer for little Rosario.

## The prayer of consecration

O Divine and adorable Will, here I am before the immensity of Your light, so Your eternal goodness may open its doors to me and let me enter into it, so that I may find myself entirely upon You, O Divine Will. Therefore, O adorable Will, I, the smallest of Your creatures and the little host of the children of Your supreme feet, come before You and bow down to Your light. Prostrate in my nothingness, I implore and beseech Your unending light to surround me and erase all that does not belong to You, so that I may look, understand, and live in You, O Divine Will.

Your Divine Will shall be my life, the center of my mind, which steals my heart and all my being. In this heart of mine, human desires shall live no more, except those which conform to Your will. Thus, forming a new garden of Eden, where peace and love shall reign. By living according to Your Divine Will, I shall always be content. It shall be my soul's source of strength, a source of holiness, which is sanctifying and draws everything to God.

## Intercessions for holiness

Here, prostrate, I invoke the help of the Most Holy Trinity; may it grant me to live in the cluster of the Divine Will, so that the original order of creation, when life was created, may be re-established in me. Heavenly Mother, sovereign queen of the divine fiat, take me by the hand and keep me always in the light of Your Divine Will. You will guide me, my tender Mother. You shall look at Your daughter and teach her to live and keep herself in order and within the enclosure of the Divine Will.

Heavenly sovereign, my Mother, I entrust my being to Your heart. I am one of Your little children. You will instruct me at the school of the Divine Will, and I will listen to You and obey You attentively. You will cover me with Your blue mantle, so that the infernal serpent does not enter into this sacred garden of Eden to tempt me and cause me to fall into the labors of earthly desires.

## The protection of the saints

Heart of Jesus, my greatest Good, will You give me Your flame, that I may burn and be consumed and nourished to create within me the supreme will? St. Joseph, you shall be my patron in the garden of my heart. You shall keep the keys of my will in Your hands. You will guide my heart jealously and will not give it to me ever again, so that I may be certain of not fleeing from the will of God in any way.

O guardian angel, be my protection, defend me, and help me in everything, so that the flowers in my garden of Eden may grow and blossom, and may my aroma fill all the world with the will of God. O heavenly court, come to my aid, and I promise you to live always according to Your Divine Will. Amen.
