## Opening Thoughts

Good afternoon. This is Bill Young, and welcome to the Prayer at Lunch podcast. Before we pray, I’m excited to share that tomorrow I’ll be attending the men’s conference at St. Mark’s in Davie, Florida. Bishop Will will be there, along with several excellent speakers, including Tom. I’ll let you know what I learn on Sunday.

## The Act of Consecration

Holy Family of Nazareth, I consecrate myself entirely to you forever, that I may follow the path toward holiness under your guidance. I take you, O Mary, as my true mother, and you, Joseph, as my guardian and master, so that I may live like Jesus, who submitted himself to your authority in all things and grew in wisdom, strength, and grace under your instruction. Help me, holy family, to fulfill God’s plan of love for me to perfection, and grant that I may always live in union with Christ and the Pope, united to you.

*Consecrating ourselves to the Holy Family helps us grow in holiness and remain united with Christ and the Church.*
