## Interceding for our priests

Welcome to the 28th episode of Prayer N Lunch. As we continue our Lenten journey, today's focus is a prayer to the Holy Spirit, asking Him to raise up holy and wise priests in the Church. I would like to dedicate this prayer to the priests of St. Maximilian Kolbe in Pembroke Pines, Florida: my pastor, Father Jeff McCormick, Father David, and Father Hector.

## Prayer to the Holy Spirit

O Holy Spirit, you who in the Scripture are called the Spirit of Truth and sanctity, and the field which produces good fruits: raise up in your Church holy and wise priests. Through their ministry of the Word, accompanied by good examples, and through the administration of the sacraments instituted by Christ, may they produce many abundant fruits of eternal life for souls, in order to bring about the rigorous renewal of the world which our Holy Father the Pope desires.

## Traditional prayers

We join our intentions with the Our Father, the Hail Mary, and the Glory Be, asking for the intercession of the Blessed Mother and the guidance of the Holy Trinity.

## A Lenten reflection

As we continue our Lenten journey together, let us pray: Dear Lord, as I make my Lenten journey with you, send me your Spirit. Help me to give of myself, help me to turn away from sin, and help me to fast and pray so that I may know you better. Let me be renewed through this journey to share your grace with the world. Amen.
