# Pray for Miracles – Day 8

> In this episode Bill Young leads a prayer for those suffering illness and seeks the intercession of Our Lady of Miracles, followed by the Apostles’ Creed and a Lenten prayer.

## Opening Prayer for the Sick

Bill begins by praying for his friends John, Marilyn, Juan Carlos, and Roseanne, asking the Lord to heal their pain and grant them peace. He recalls the biblical promises of healing—Jesus raising the dead, healing the lepers, and calling Lazarus out of the tomb—and pleads for mercy, health, and, above all, the peace that only Christ can give.

## Novena to Our Lady of Miracles

Bill continues with the novena to the Blessed Virgin Mary of Miracles. He invokes the Trinity, recites the Apostles’ Creed, and then offers a series of Marian prayers, asking Mary to intercede for the faithful, to grant humility, and to bestow the grace he is seeking. The prayers include the traditional Hail Mary, a plea for the “fruit of thy womb,” and a heartfelt “Hail Holy Queen.”

## Lenten Journey Prayer

Concluding the episode, Bill prays for strength during his Lenten journey. He asks the Lord to send the Holy Spirit, to help him turn away from sin, to fast and pray, and to renew his commitment to sharing God’s grace with the world.
