> In honor of Valentine's Day, Bill Young reflects on the nature of heavenly love and recites the Marian Creed to honor the Blessed Mother.

## Heaven as the fullness of love

Good afternoon. This is Bill Young and welcome to the Prayer N Lunch podcast. Today is the 12th of February, a few days before Valentine's Day. In honor of the day of love, the next few podcasts will focus on love, beginning today with the love of Mary, who is the mother of all love.

If you have listened to my 'Saints Among Us' podcast, you know I mentioned praying the rosary and thinking of my aunt, Sister Mary Teresa, who had passed away twelve years prior. In that moment, I experienced an overwhelming feeling of love, not once, but twice. When I spoke with my sister, she recalled feeling that same love at the funeral twelve years earlier. To me, this suggests that heaven is love—the greatest love you could possibly have for everything and everyone.

## The Marian Creed

In honor of the Mother of Love, I wish to share the Miriam Creed:

I believe in the Virgin Mary, and I firmly believe in her with all my heart. I believe in her divine maternity and in her perpetual virginity, in her Immaculate Conception, and in her mission as Co-redemptrix at the side of her son, our Redeemer. I believe in her Assumption and her heavenly glorification in body and soul, for Mary is the image of the church, which shall have her fulfillment in the age to come.

I believe in her spiritual maternity, in her ecclesiastical maternity, and in her true queenship. I believe in her intercessions of grace for the growth of the divine life of souls. I believe, therefore, in her loving presence at the side of all creatures as Mother, Help of Christians, and Our Lady of Perpetual Help. I believe in the universal triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, because this is her hour.

*I give my heart to you, Mother of Jesus, Mother of love.*
