## The promise of the Holy Child

This prayer recalls the sweet promise made by the Holy Child Jesus to His disciple, Venerable Margaret of the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar. He addressed her with beautiful words that anointed her broken soul with the balsam of heavenly consolations, telling her to take recourse to His heart whenever she wished to obtain a grace. He promised that if she asked through the merits of His holy infancy, He would not refuse to grant it.

## A prayer for grace

Full of confidence in that promise, we come to the feet of the Divine Child to place our needs before Him. We ask for help to live a holy life so that we may one day reach our heavenly home. Through the merits of His infancy and the intercession of His most lovable Mother and the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel, we implore the specific graces we need in our lives.

## Trusting in Divine Mercy

As we make our requests, we do so with lively hope, knowing that the sweet Child Jesus understands exactly how much we need His help. We trust in the tenderness and mercy of His divine heart, certain that He hears our prayers.
