## Feast of St. Margaret

Good afternoon, this is Bill Young welcoming you to the Prayer and Lunch podcast. Today, January 12, is the feast day of St. Margaret of Montreal, Canada. She was a sister who pioneered education in Montreal in the 1650s and entered heaven on January 12, 1700, over 315 years ago.

## Thank You and Invitation

I want to thank everyone who has followed our new Twitter account; we’re approaching 700 followers. I invite all of you—both our Twitter community and podcast listeners—to join me in a novena for obtaining a grace in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

## Novena Prayer

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

O God, come to my aid; Lord, make haste to help me. Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, without end. Amen.

Eternal Father, I am a poor and powerless creature. I recognize my weakness and your infinite power, and I place my need before you. I ask for the intentions of all who are listening and all our Twitter followers. May you care for our needs. Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning,{ is now, and ever shall be, without end. Amen.

Eternal Son, I am a poor, ignorant creature. I acknowledge my great ignorance and your infinite wisdom, and I entrust my needs to you. All Twitter followers and listeners, please make your petitions now, trusting in your providence. Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, without end. Amen.

Eternal Holy Spirit, I am a poor and ungrateful creature. I merit nothing, yet I recognize my ingratitude and your infinite goodness. I place my needs in your hands, asking you to grant the wishes and prayers of all our Twitter followers and listeners. In you I abandon myself; in you I trust. Amen.

## Blessing

May God bless you all.

*Together, we entrust our petitions to the Trinity, confident that He hears our prayers.*
