Welcome to the 369th episode of the Prayer N Lunch podcast. Today is May 10th, the day before Mother's Day. It is a time when we honor all mothers, especially our Mother in heaven, Mary.

Today we are praying the Petitions to Our Lady of Graces. This prayer was written by St. Padre Pio. If you search for him online, you can learn a great deal about his life, but one of the most notable aspects of his witness was that for fifty years of his life, he bore the stigmata—the wounds of our Lord Jesus—in his hands and feet.

## A Prayer for Suffering Families

I would like to dedicate today's prayer to all the families suffering with children who have cancer. I pray that they may be stronger and wiser, and that they may overcome the financial and emotional burdens they face.

O heavenly treasure of all graces, Mother of God and my mother Mary, as you are the firstborn daughter of the Eternal Father and have His omnipotence at hand, have mercy on my soul and grant me the graces which I humbly ask of you.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

O merciful bestower of divine graces, most holy Mary, Mother of the Incarnated Word, who has crowned you with all great wisdom, consider the greatness of my sorrow and grant me the graces of which I am so much in need.

O most beloved bestower of divine graces, Immaculate Bride of the Eternal Holy Spirit, most holy Mother, you who received from Him a heart moved to compassion by human misfortune, yes, oh my Mother, Giver of all graces, refuge of poor sinners, comfort of the afflicted, hope of those who despair, and most powerful help of Christians, I put all my trust in you. I am sure that you will obtain for me from Jesus the grace which I desire so much, if it is for the good of my soul.

Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping, in this valley of tears.
