Good afternoon. This is Bill Young, welcoming you to the 209th episode of Catholic Podcast Ministries, Prayer and Lunch. Today is Thanksgiving Day, and we’ll pray a special Thanksgiving Table Prayer over the blessings of our food.

## The Thanksgiving Table Prayer

O Gracious God, we give You thanks for Your overflowing generosity to us. Thank You for the blessing of the food we eat, and especially for this feast today. Thank You for our home, our family, and our friends, especially for the presence of those gathered here. Thank You for our health, for our work, and for our play. Please send help to those who are hungry, alone, sick, and suffering from war and violence. Open our hearts to Your love. We ask Your blessings through Christ, Your Son. Amen.

## Reflection

As we share this meal, we remember that every good gift comes from God and that we are called to extend His generosity to those who lack the basic necessities of life.
