# Chaplet to Our Lady of Fatima – Day Eight

## Opening Prayer

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Lord, help us. Lord, make haste to aid us. Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be. Amen.

## The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again, ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

## Prayer to Our Lady of Fatima

O most holy Virgin Mary, who appeared to the shepherds and expressed the desire that a sanctuary be built in Fatima in honor of the Holy Rosary, grant us a great love for the mystery of our redemption, which is remembered in the reciting of the Rosary, that we may enjoy the precious fruits the Most Holy Trinity has given to humanity. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, pray for our sinners, especially for those facing death. Amen.

## Special Intentions

Please pray for my friends John and Roseanne. John is homebound, strong in spirit but weakened in body. He has cancer, suffered a stroke on Saturday, and is battling complications. Pray that God grant him peace and healing. Amen.
