# Prayer for Those Who Have Suffered Trauma

## Opening

Good afternoon. This is Bill Young, and welcome to the 321st episode of Catholic Podcast Ministries, Prayer and Lunch.

## Intentions

I’d like to pray for several people who are carrying heavy burdens. First, for Juan Carlos, who recently lost his wife, Mary Ann. Also for my friend John, who is homebound, and for his wife Roseanne. May God give them strength in this time of need.

## The Prayer

In the name of the Father, and of His Son, and of the Holy Spirit, amen.

Most merciful God, bless all those who suffer trauma in their lives. Support them with love during their time of shock. Grace them with peace as they wrestle with the challenges of each day. Sustain them in hope as they prepare for the days ahead. Amen.

## Closing Blessing

And God bless all who face challenges, who have needs this Lenten season, and who have suffered trauma. Amen.
