> Bill Young leads a heartfelt prayer of adoration for the Lord Jesus, recalling His incarnation, humility, and saving work.

## Opening Prayer

Good evening. This is Bill Young, and welcome to the 275th episode of Catholic Podcast Ministries, Prayer and Lunch. Today we pray from my prayer book titled *Let Us Adore the Lord Jesus Who Came into the World*.

## Adoration of the Incarnate Christ

O Lord Jesus, eagerly awaited by humanity for centuries and longed for by our poor hearts, we greet and adore you. In the name of all creation we give thanks for your coming to save us according to divine promise. We honor you with all the joy and fervor we can muster, crying, “Glory and honor, blessed be you, Word of God made flesh.”

We adore and praise you, Son of God and of Mary. We adore you in your extreme poverty, Lamb of God who took our sins, Bread of Life who gives us true life.

## Union with Our Sufferings

We adore you because you united yourself to us in our tears and sufferings, that we might receive true happiness. O God who became a child, we sing, “Glory be to God in the highest.” We adore and love you with the heart of Mary, your most holy Mother, and with Joseph, your most chaste Father.

## Offering Our Hearts

We love you and offer you our hearts, empowered by the love you have given us. May we hold you close to our humble hearts with the strength you provide. O Divine Virgin of love, who came to bring us peace, hope, and joy, receive our devotion.

## Closing Blessing

Jesus, Divine Child, we who are present ask that we may never be separated from you. Amen. May God bless you all.

*May our hearts ever remain united with Christ, who came into the world to bring us life and love.*
