## Introduction and Pro‑Life Resources

Good morning. This is Bill Young, and welcome to the 226th episode of Catholic Podcast Ministries, Prayer and Lunch. As we finish the novena to three American saints for life, I want to share the contact information for the Pro‑Life Activities office of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops: 3211 4th Street, Northeast, Washington, D.C. 20017‑1194, phone 202‑541‑3070. I’ll post that information on my site for anyone who needs it.

## Recap of the Novena

The novena has honored three American saints who were powerful witnesses to the Gospel of life. We began with St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, continued with St. John Neumann, and today we conclude with St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, known as Mother Cabrini.

## Prayer to Saint Frances Cabrini

In every corner of the hemisphere you sought out those whom everyone had forgotten. Mother of immigrants, friend of orphans, protector of the poor—intercede for us who strive to follow your example, we ask through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Mother of those who care for the sick, inspire doctors to be apostles for life. Mother of the homeless, teach us that all life comes from God and rests only in Him. Mother of little children, be with the child who is alone or afraid.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, my love, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

## Closing Blessing

Glory to the Father.

*May Saint Mother Cabrini’s example inspire us to protect and cherish every human life.*
