## A Milestone and a Quick History

Good morning, I’m Bill Young, and welcome to the 200th episode of Catholic Podcast Ministries, Prayer and Lunch. I wanted to share a brief story about how this ministry began. In December of last year, while praying with a couples’ ministry group, I felt called to create something more focused on prayer at lunchtime. Listening to Sister Ann Shields and other Catholic podcasts inspired me, but I wanted a different flavor. At the time there weren’t many lunchtime prayers available, so I decided to fill that need. Over the past year we’ve reached more than 10,000 downloads, and I pray that those listening have drawn closer to God.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

O most powerful Queen of Heaven and Earth, immaculate Mother of God, our most holy Mary, through the merits of the Miraculous Medal, we beseech you to hear our petitions. To you, O Mother, we turn with confidence, sending forth our prayers to the whole world, that we may receive the grace of God, of which you are the treasure, and be saved from sin. Through your intercession, may the Father have mercy on us and grant us salvation, that we may enter Paradise and honor you forever. Amen.
