# Praying for Guidance and Listening with the Heart

## Opening Prayer for the Nation

Bill begins by asking God’s blessing on the new leadership in the United States, praying that the coming administration will be guided by the Holy Spirit and that the nation may experience peace and justice.

## Prayer for Family and Friends

Father, I pray for the members of my family and my circle of friends who are facing important decisions. Help them live in dependence on You, like sheep in the care of their shepherd, willing to follow You and not be led astray. May they keep their eyes on Jesus, listen to His voice, and recognize His guidance.

## Listening with the Heart

May they listen with their hearts and hear You say, “This is the way; walk in it.” Guide them in truth, teach them counsel, and watch over them when darkness surrounds them. Strengthen their trust in Your name, confident that You will lead them along paths they cannot yet see.

## Divine Guidance and Protection

Lead and guide them for the sake of Your holy name. May they know their lives are in Your hands, that You direct their steps and clear the way before them. Let the Spirit of Truth illuminate their minds, granting wisdom and protecting them from wrong choices.
