# All Saints’ Day Litany and Prayer

## Opening Invocation

Good afternoon. This is Bill Young, and welcome to the 187th episode of Catholic Podcast Ministries, Prayer and Lunch. Today is All Saints’ Day, and we will pray the Litany of the Saints. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lord, have mercy. Christ, have mercy. Holy Trinity, one God, have mercy on us.

## Litany of the Saints

Holy Mary, pray for us. Holy Mother of God, pray for us. Holy Virgin of virgins, pray for us.
St. Michael the Archangel, pray for us. St. Gabriel, pray for us. St. Raphael, pray for us. Holy angels of God, pray for us.
Abraham, father of faith, pray for us. David, shepherd of God’s people, pray for us. St. John the Baptist, pray for us.
All holy prophets and patriarchs, pray for us. The apostles and their disciples: St. Peter, St. Paul, St. Andrew, St. James, St. John, St. Thomas, St. Philip, St. Bartholomew, St. Matthew, St. Simon, St. Jude, St. Luke, St. Mark, St. Bernard, St. Mary Magdalene, pray for us.

## Our Supplications

Lord, be merciful and save your people from all evil. May we be prepared for the day of judgment and receive everlasting life.
Christ, Son of the living God, have mercy on us. You came into the world, were crucified, died, descended into hell, rose from the dead, and now sit at the right hand of the Father. Have mercy on us.
Grant us conversion, protect the Pope, bishops, clergy, and all ministers of God. Send new laborers into your harvest and give unity to all Christians.
Provide for those in need: food, peace, justice, and an end to war and disaster. Protect the persecuted, comfort the sick, and grant eternal rest to the faithful departed.
May youth grow in friendship with you, rulers be enlightened with wisdom, and the Church be strengthened in every home and family.

## Closing Prayer

Christ, hear us. Lord Jesus, hear our prayers. Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world, have mercy on us.
O God, our refuge and strength, accept the humble prayers of your Church. Fill us with the trust of your fatherly love, that we may obtain the grace we ask through Christ our Lord.
