# Chaplet to Our Guardian Angel – Day Two
*2008-09-29*

> Bill Young leads the second day of the Chaplet to Our Guardian Angel, beginning with the Sign of the Cross, the Apostles’ Creed, and a heartfelt prayer to our guardian angel.

## Opening Prayer

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
God, come to my aid. O Lord, make haste to help me. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

## The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again; He ascended into heaven; He is seated at the right hand of the Father; He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

## Chaplet – Day Two: Prayer to Our Guardian Angel

My guardian angel, I humbly ask your forgiveness for the sorrow I have{unclear} caused you by violating the law of God in your presence, ignoring your inspirations and warnings. I beseech you to grant me the grace of atonement for all the sins of my past, together with the prescribed penance. I also ask you for the grace to assist at Mass with ever‑increasing favor, that I may always be graced with devotion to Our Lady, Mother of all.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

## Closing Prayer

Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God loves, commit me here. Ever this day or night, be at my side to guide and protect me. Amen.

*May we entrust each moment to the loving care of our guardian angels.*
