## Remembering Saint Pio

Good afternoon. This is Bill Young, and welcome to the 152nd episode of Prayer and Lunch. Today, we are going to be praying to Saint Pio. Saint Pio lived until he was 81 years old, passing away on September 22nd, after giving Mass.

## The Prayer to Saint Pio

O Jesus, full of grace and love, and a victim for our sins, who, inflamed with love for our souls, wanted to die on the cross: I humbly ask you to glorify also on this earth the servant of God, who, by generously partaking in your sufferings, loved you greatly and gave of himself without reserve for the glory of your Father and for the good of souls. I beg you, therefore, to grant me through his intercession the grace of [personal intentions], which I earnestly desire.

## Closing Doxology

We now pray the Glory Be three times: Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
