## Litany of the Most Precious Blood

Lord, have mercy. Christ, have mercy. God the Father, have mercy on us. God the Son, Redeemer of the world, have mercy on us. God the Holy Spirit, one God, save us.

Blood of Christ, Son of the Eternal Father, save us. Blood of Christ, Incarnate Word of God, save us. Blood of Christ, New Covenant, save us. Blood of Christ, poured out in agony, save us. Blood of Christ, shed at the pillar, save us. Blood of Christ, poured out in the crowning of thorns, save us. Blood of Christ, shed upon the cross, save us. Blood of Christ, price of our salvation, save us. Blood of Christ, without which there is no forgiveness, save us. Blood of Christ, drink and purification for our souls in the Eucharist, save us. Blood of Christ, stream of mercy, save us. Blood of Christ, victorious over demons, save us. Blood of Christ, strength of martyrs, save us. Blood of Christ, strength of confessors, save us. Blood of Christ, who gives birth to virgins, save us. Blood of Christ, who sustains those who are afflicted, save us. Blood of Christ, solace for the suffering, save us. Blood of Christ, consolation for the grieving, save us. Blood of Christ, hope for those who repent, save us. Blood of Christ, comfort of the dying, save us. Blood of Christ, peace and sweetness of our hearts, save us. Blood of Christ, token of eternal life, save us. Blood of Christ, which frees the souls of Purgatory, save us. Blood of Christ, worthy of all praise and honor, save us.

You have redeemed us, Lord, with your blood, and you have made us a kingdom for our God. Let us pray. Father, through the precious blood of your only‑begotten Son, you have redeemed all people. Continue to show your mercy to us, that we, by celebrating these holy mysteries, may obtain the fruits of our redemption. Through Christ our Lord, amen.

## Novena to Our Lady of Mount Carmel – Day 8 (July 14)

You give us hope, O Mother of Mercy, that through your scapular promises we may quickly pass through the fires of Purgatory to the Kingdom of your Son. Be our comfort and our hope. Grant that our hope may not be in vain, that ever faithful to your Son and to you we may speedily enjoy after death the blessed company of Jesus and the saints.

## Our Prayers

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
